Main Speaker:

Scott Johns
Scott Johns serves as the Pastor of High School Ministries at Lenexa Baptist Church in Kansas City. He holds a Master of Divinity from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Scott and his wife, Addison, are grateful parents to their son, Hudson. Early in his journey, Scott felt called to serve God overseas through campus outreach. When the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted those plans, God redirected Scott’s path and led him into pastoral ministry—a calling that continues to shape his heart and passion for discipling the next generation.
With a deep love for students and a desire to see them grow in their walk with Christ, Scott is committed to teaching God’s Word faithfully and walking alongside high schoolers as they contemplate their purpose in this world. He is especially excited to join AWAKEN this year, where he looks forward to sharing the hope of the gospel and encouraging students to pursue an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ.
